Driver code 14

We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious Code 14 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods while ensuring compliance with all road traffic legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy motor vehicles in accordance with all road traffic regulations.
• Deliver and collect goods on time and in good condition.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Load and offload goods safely where required.
• Secure loads to prevent damage during transportation.
• Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, incidents, or delays immediately.
• Comply with company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and suppliers.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Code 14 (EC) Driver's Licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience driving heavy commercial vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic offences.
• Good knowledge of South African road traffic legislation.
• Ability to complete vehicle inspection checklists and delivery documentation accurately.
• Physically fit and willing to assist with loading and offloading when required.

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel when operationally required
