Driver (Code 8 / PrDP)

About the Role Career Start is seeking two more Drivers to join our internal, in-house logistics team. This is a rare opportunity for a professional who thrives in a high-trust, elite environment. This role is specifically focused on high-performing Code 8 Drivers with a valid PrDP who are ready to support our brand’s mission of global excellence. You will act as a lead Delivery Driver to ensure our assets and personnel move with world-class safety and precision.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Document & Asset Transit: Complete 5–8 daily scheduled pickups and drop-offs of high-priority business documents and equipment across the Cape Town CBD and surrounding suburbs.
• Pre-Trip Safety Checks: Conduct a mandatory 15-minute daily vehicle inspection (fluid levels, tire pressure, and lights) to ensure 100% compliance with professional safety standards.
• Electronic Trip Logging: Maintain an accurate digital logbook using a mobile device to record mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery timestamps for every trip.
• Professional Shuttle Service: Provide on-time transportation for international candidates and partners between our Cape Town offices and the airport.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform weekly interior and exterior cleaning of assigned brand vehicles to ensure they consistently represent our “world-class” quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven Experience: A clean, valid South African Code 8 driver’s license with an active PrDP and significant history as a professional Driver.
• Local Fluency: Deep familiarity with Cape Town’s routes, aligning with the high volume of Drivers Vacancies currently in the market.
• Communication Skills: Polished, professional, and empathetic tone suitable for representing a leading professional growth platform.
• Self-Direction: Proven discipline to manage demanding routes independently without the need for constant supervision.
