We are hunting for a dependable, sharp Driver (Code 8) to join our internal logistics and festival crew based in Cape Town. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily transport grid—safely shuttling team members, delivering vital marketing materials, picking up artist hospitality supplies, and ensuring that our festival headquarters and venue sites remain perfectly synchronized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crew & Supplier Transport: Safely and punctually transport internal staff, festival crew, and key event partners to meetings, venue sites, and marketing activations across Cape Town.
• Logistics & Errand Execution: Handle daily operational collections and deliveries, including picking up signage, event equipment, official festival merchandise, and office supplies.
• Vehicle Maintenance & Safety Checklists: Keep the company vehicle pristine, monitoring fuel levels, arranging scheduled services, and executing standard pre-trip safety inspections.
• Route & Schedule Optimization: Map out efficient driving routes across Cape Town to bypass heavy traffic and ensure all time-sensitive deliveries hit their windows perfectly.
• Delivery Logging: Maintain simple, accurate trip sheets and delivery logs (manually or via basic digital tracking) to document mileage and fuel expenses.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Licensing & Driving Record: Must hold a valid South African Code 8 (Class B) driver’s license with a clean driving record and zero history of reckless violations.
• Cape Town Grid Knowledge: Exceptional, firsthand knowledge of Cape Town routes, major highways, and central event zones.
• Punctuality & Reliability: A deeply ingrained habit of arriving early, managing time effectively, and adapting quickly to shifting schedules.
• Professional Demeanor: Clear verbal English communication with a polite, helpful, and disciplined approach when interacting with internal crew and external suppliers.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to assist the crew with light loading and unloading of marketing assets or office packages when required.
