Driver- Halfway Geely Kokstad

Overview of Role

Halfway Geely Kokstad is seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles, delivering and collecting vehicles or parts, and assisting with general driving duties while ensuring the safe handling of vehicles and providing professional service.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Drive and deliver vehicles safely between dealerships, customers, and other locations.
• Collect and deliver vehicles for servicing, repairs, and other operational requirements.
• Assist with the collection and delivery of vehicle parts and documentation when required.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after trips.
• Ensure vehicles are handled with care and kept clean.
• Complete trip sheets and other required documentation accurately.
• Follow road traffic regulations and company driving procedures.
• Report accidents, vehicle damage, defects, or traffic incidents promptly.
• Ensure vehicle keys and documents are handled securely.
• Assist with other reasonable duties as required.

Qualification

• Grade 12 or equivalent will be an advantage.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• A professional driving permit (PrDP) will be an advantage.

Experience

• Previous driving experience, preferably in a motor dealership, will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Personal Characteristics

The suitable candidate must be friendly, dependable/reliable and have excellent communication skills.
