Job description

GENERAL:

Ensure Vehicle is in RWC at all times.

Ensure Vehicle is clean inside and out as well as being always presentable.

Ensure Vehicle is looked after and not abused.

Ensure Vehicle is booked in for a service when it is due and report the need for a service at least 500km before it is due.

Ensure the trailer is inspected daily for any damages so that repairs can be carried out timeously to avoid downtime or major breakdowns.

Perform marketing if not collecting units, this includes robot drops, handing out pamphlets and business cards.

Ensure the delivery note is completed with the exact location of where the unit was delivered.

Ensure the client signs the delivery note before leaving the site.

Ensure any issues, incidents and accidents and so on must be reported to the Sales representative within 1 Working day regardless of the size of the incident.

Ensure if the vehicle is damaged and there are any other persons/vehicles involved incident must be reported to the SAPS within 24 Hours of the incident and the case number given to the Sales representative.

Be willing to travel long distances and may be required to work overtime to ensure delivery is completed.

Always obey the rules of the road and road traffic management act.

Always adhere to the speed limit and keep a safe following distance.

Be on time for work as well as deliveries.

Plan route efficiently to ensure the best route is taken (From an efficiency point of view).

Always ensure a friendly and respectable attitude to all customers.

Ensure there is always enough marketing materials in the vehicle and ensure the clients are given these when asking about the products Kazin sells.

Ensure all Safety is adhered to according to the training guide that must have been signed after the 2 Weeks training to ensure you are aware of all procedures.

Ensure the driver’s assistant is performing according to the training guide that will/has been signed after the 2 weeks training to ensure you are aware of all procedures.

Loading and unloading of all items required to be transported.

Delivering and collecting of all items required to be transported.

Ensure the Kazin code of conduct is always adhered to.

Aways be neat and presentable and ensure you dress in the Kazin uniform provided, always.

EMPLOYEES:

Ensure the assistant assigned to you always has work to do and their time is efficiently utilised. The number of assistants may be changed by management at any time they deem it necessary.

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION:

Hookup the trailer daily as per SOP.

Refuel the bakkie ad hoc as per SOP.

Load units as per SOP.

Offload units as per SOP.
