Job description

VACANCY: DRIVER / STOREMAN

Protech Safety and Industrial Supplies (Pty) Ltd. is looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Driver/Storeman.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver and collect goods safely and on time
Load and unload goods
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders correctly
Receive, check and properly process incoming stock
Ensure delivery notes and other documents are completed and signed
Assist with stock counts and stock control
Keep the storeroom organised, clean and secure
Report damaged, missing or incorrect stock
Perform general storeman and warehouse duties when required

Requirements:

Valid South African driver’s licence.
Previous driving, delivery or store man experience (having PPE experince would be an advantage).
Good knowledge of surrounding areas.
Able to lift and handle stock.
Honest, reliable, punctual and responsible.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Able to follow stock-control and processing procedures accurately.
