Driver/Supervisor

Key Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and support drivers to ensure safe and efficient delivery operations.
• Coach, train, and assess driver competence on loading, offloading, operational procedures, and customer site requirements.
• Conduct weekly toolbox talks and facilitate ongoing driver development initiatives.
• Monitor driver compliance with company procedures, HSSE standards and customer requirements.
• Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and coordinate disciplinary processes where required.
• Coordinate drivers shift handovers and assist with tanker loading when operationally required.
• Ensure vehicle document packs, safety equipment and operational consumables remain fully stocked and compliant.
• Conduct regular driver and fleet readiness audits.
• Provide after-hours operational support during driver-related incidents and escalations.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12).
• 3–5 years' experience supervising drivers within a fleet, logistics or transport environment.
• Practical knowledge of loading/offloading procedures and transport documentation.
• Valid driver's licence (PrDP will be advantageous).
• Experience within the petroleum, fuel or dangerous goods industry will be advantageous.

Pay: R8 500,00 - R10 000,00 per month
