Are you passionate about hospitality, people and creating unforgettable guest experiences?
We’re looking for a Duty & Guest Experience Lead to join the Dorp family, someone who is warm, hands-on, confident and genuinely loves making people feel welcome.
THE ROLE
As Duty & Guest Experience Lead, you’ll be the guardian of the Dorp guest journey. You’ll oversee daily hotel operations, lead our Front of House and Housekeeping teams, support events and dining experiences, and be the go-to person for our guests.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be the go-to person for guest queries, requests and feedback
- Create personalised guest experiences that reflect the Dorp spirit
- Handle guest concerns with empathy, confidence and genuine care
- Supervise daily operations, room inspections and presentation of guest areas
- Oversee linen and stock management, maintenance reporting and Health & Safety compliance
- Lead daily team briefings in the General Manager’s absence
- Help plan and deliver hotel events and dining experiences
- Mentor and develop Front of House and Housekeeping teams
- Champion a collaborative, kind and purpose-driven culture
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Grade 12 plus a relevant Hospitality Diploma or Certificate
- 3+ years’ experience in hotel operations, guest relations or hospitality management
- 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
- Working knowledge of PMS/POS systems and general administration
- A valid driver’s licence
- Calm and confident under pressure, with excellent people skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences
