Duty Manager

The successful candidate should possess;

· Ensure that the branch operates in accordance with all current applicable legislation, rules and regulations

· Ensure that the highest possible levels of customer service are provided

· Ensure that the branch operates in accordance with Company Polies and Procedures, and Internal Control Procedures

· Ensure that the company operates according to the highest possible standards, in keeping with its objective to become the market leader in South Africa

· Ensure an understanding of the opening and closing procedures of the Branch

· Secure the premises prior to commencement of the clearance procedure and carry out clearance in line with Internal Control Procedures

· Ensure the compliance with FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act) Internal Rules

· Ensure compliance with the OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act, 85 of 1993)

· Ensure a thorough knowledge on company security and surveillance systems and have an overall responsibility for the security of the premises

· Review daily reconciliations and reporting

· Deal with customers in a professional manner and ensure that all customer complaints are noted and actioned

· Perform daily, weekly and monthly stock counts as required

· Ensure management presence on the floor and manage staff in a professional manner by conducting regular meetings

· Ensure that company property and assets are well maintained including cleanliness and hygiene

· Complete and fill all required checklists and meet attendance requirements
