Job description

We are seeking a proactive, tech-savvy, and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our growing business. This role combines administrative support, customer service, e-commerce coordination, and marketing assistance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with online platforms, takes initiative, communicates clearly in English, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where they can manage multiple projects and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Manage and organize email communications, including responding to inquiries and following up as needed
  • Assist with customer service inquiries and maintain a positive customer experience
  • Support ongoing projects and help coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion
  • Create and edit marketing materials using Canva
  • Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement
  • Support e-commerce operations, including product listings, order management, and website updates
  • Assist with purchase orders, order tracking, and vendor coordination
  • Maintain accurate records and update spreadsheets and reports
  • Utilize Shopify and other online platforms to support business operations
  • Perform data entry and general administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant, Customer Service, E-Commerce, or similar support role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Canva (required)
  • Experience working with Shopify (preferred)
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software and online platforms
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and strong initiative
  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Experience supporting e-commerce businesses
  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing
  • Familiarity with online purchasing, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment processes
  • Experience working with CRM, project management, or marketing tools is a plus

Pay: R16 000,00 - R19 000,00 per month

Work Location: Remote
