Job description
Role summary: Runs e-commerce across multiple retail brands on WooCommerce and WordPress, owning sales, GP% and target delivery. Works closely with buyers and planners, warehouse managers, customer care and marketing to keep products, stock, customer service and the website on track.
Key requirements
- Product onboarding: Liaise with buyers and planners on product ranges for each season. Ensure images and descriptions are correct and loaded in time for product drops.
- Marketing alignment: Work closely with marketing to ensure the website reflects marketing calendars, promotions, currently running ads, mailers and social media.
- Stockholding, customer service and reviews: Manage stockholding with online warehouse managers, and customer queries with customer care custodians. Manage customer reviews.
- E-commerce operations: Proficient in WooCommerce. Catalogue management and audits, category taxonomy, and diagnosing sync issues, including stock-on-hand discrepancies.
- Compliance: Ensure website policies are up to date and the business is compliant.
- Paid media: Working knowledge of Meta Ads and Google Ads, including catalogue and feed management.
- Analytics: GA4, Clarity, Google Search Console and advanced Excel.
- Web and content: Product and category copy and campaign pages. Proficiency in Elementor is beneficial.
- SEO: Rank Math and meta optimisation at scale.
- Email and CRM: FunnelKit automations (welcome, abandoned cart, win-back), email copy and customer segmentation.
Brand performance and reporting
- Full understanding of brand performance: net sales, GP%, margin, AOV, conversion, channel attribution and category mix
- Own and reach sales and profitability targets for each brand
- Monthly sales reporting, tracking month-on-month and against target
- Quarterly performance reviews (e.g. Q1 and Q3) across each brand, covering trends, drivers and recommendations
- Reporting on traffic and channel performance using GA4, alongside paid media results
- Analysing category and product performance to inform merchandising, promotions and campaign priorities
- Customer analysis, including segmentation and repeat purchase behaviour
- Presenting results and next steps to leadership
