Job description
The Role The E-Commerce Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring that all inbound and outbound e-commerce orders are processed safely, accurately, and efficiently. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, manage workflows, monitor inventory, and drive continuous improvement on the warehouse floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates. Manage schedules, assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular feedback sessions.
- Order Fulfillment: Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of e-commerce orders to ensure they meet daily service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Inbound & Outbound Operations: Manage receiving, quality control, and putaway processes for new inventory. Coordinate with shipping carriers for daily pickups.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in warehouse workflows and implement solutions to increase productivity and reduce order processing times.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role (e-commerce or retail fulfillment experience is highly preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and shipping software (e.g., Sap). Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Leadership: Strong ability to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and build a positive, high-performing team culture.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to think on your feet to resolve logistical issues quickly.
