Job description
We are looking for a passionate, reliable and qualified ECD Preschool Teacher who takes initiative to join our preschool team.
The ideal candidate must love working with young children, be patient, organised and confident in managing a classroom environment. The teacher will be responsible for daily lesson activities, classroom routines, supervision, communication with parents where needed, and creating a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment.
Working hours: Rotational shifts between two or more of the following:
- 06:30 – 17:00
- 08:00 – 18:00
- 07:00 – 17:00
- 07:00 – 17:30
Requirements:
- NQF Level 4: Entry-Level Practitioner OR NQF Level 5: Advanced Certificate qualification is required
- Previous preschool teaching experience preferred
- Must be able to teach a dual-medium class
- Must have a reliable working phone capable of taking videos and photos for school portal
- Must have home access to a laptop and the internet for compulsory weekly lesson plans, concert planning, etc.
- Must take the lead in preparing lesson lessons, creating classroom resources, etc.
- Must be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Must have reliable transport to and from work
- Must be kind, patient and confident with young children
- Must be able to plan and assist with age-appropriate classroom activities
- Must have certified SAPS Police Clearance Certificate
- Must have a certified copy of your South African ID
- Must work well with children, parents and staff
- Valid First-Aid Certification is an advantage
If selected for an interview, you will be required to provide us one example of a lesson plan, age appropriate activities, and lesson worksheet.
Pay: R5 500,00 - R8 500,00 per month
