ECD Teacher for 4 and 5 year olds

1. Facilitator of Learning & Curriculum Implementation

• Plan and implement daily, age-appropriate, play-based programs that align with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) or CAPS.
• Balance the daily schedule to include cognitive exercises (counting, shapes), creative play (drawing, painting), and physical fitness.
• Encourage language and literacy development through storytelling, songs, role-play, and rhymes.

2. Caregiver & Health Supervisor

• Ensure the classroom is a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Promote personal hygiene (handwashing, proper toilet habits) and monitor children for signs of illness or nutritional needs.
• Manage safety protocols, including having up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications.

3. Development Monitoring & Administration

• Continuously observe and assess children to track developmental milestones and learning progress.
• Keep detailed records, portfolios, and written reports on each child's achievements and behavioral needs.
• Identify behavioral or developmental challenges and determine the right course of action or referral.
