ECD Teacher

Kids Kingdom Christian Preschool is looking for a passionate, nurturing, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team, working with children aged 3 months to 3 years.

If you have a genuine love for young children, a heart for Christian education, and a desire to make a difference during these important early years, we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate should:

• Have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ
• Have a recognised ECD qualification (NQF Level 5 or higher preferred).
• Previous experience teaching children between 2 and 3 years would be beneficial.
• Have a genuine love and passion for young children.
• Be patient, kind, energetic, and nurturing.
• Be able to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment.
• Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Be creative and able to plan age-appropriate activities that promote holistic development.
• Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
• Be committed to upholding Christian values and be comfortable incorporating Biblical principles into the daily program.
• Be reliable, professional, and willing to grow within our school community.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and implementing a stimulating daily program.
• Supporting children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development.
• Maintaining a warm, loving, and secure classroom environment.
• Assist with children's personal care needs, including nappy changing and supporting toilet training where required.
• Completing daily observations and developmental records.
• Communicating regularly with parents regarding their child's progress.
• Ensuring the classroom remains clean, organised, and safe.
• Working closely with management and fellow staff members to maintain the high standards of Kids Kingdom Christian Preschool.
