About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social outings.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement.
• Observe and report any changes in the client's health or well-being.
• Maintain accurate records and follow individualized care plans.

Requirements

• Previous experience in elderly care, home care, or a similar caregiving role.
• Relevant caregiving qualification or certification is an advantage.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
• Ability to work independently and maintain client confidentiality.
• Valid driver's licence (if transportation is required).
