Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (with Maths & Science) or N3 (with Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics and Eng. Science) or NCV 3 or 4 qualification in Electrical.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties:

• Receive regular training as and when agreed in a training programme, to understand and learn the trade.
• General assistance to the electrician including installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, repair and maintenance of electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures
• Assisting in general electrical work and preparation as directed
• As directed by the Line Manager to assist with storage, lifting, fetching supplies, unload and check deliveries
• Receive training so that you can assist with identifying hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety
• Maintain accurate worksheets and records/documentation associated with your work
• Employee shall perform the duties as assigned to them diligently and to the satisfaction of Management.
