Job description

Lexdan Select is assisting a Manufacturing company with their search for an Electrical Engineer. Based in Bellville, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams.
Review and prepare electrical designs, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
Conduct fault-finding, technical investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Support transformer, switchgear, renewable energy, generator, and battery storage projects.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Assist with technical supplier evaluations and equipment selection.
Ensure compliance with relevant SANS standards and industry requirements.
Mentor technical personnel and contribute to new product development and technology innovation.

Key Requirements

BTech, Advanced Diploma, BEng, or BSc in Electrical Engineering.
3–8 years' experience in electrical manufacturing, power systems, switchgear, industrial projects, or renewable energy.
Strong knowledge of MV and LV electrical systems.
Knowledge of SANS transformer and electrical standards.
ECSA registration and/or GCC (Factories)

Full Time Permanent Position.

Salary: R90 000- R120 000 P/M
