Job description
Key responsibilities
- Assist with electrical site inspections and progress monitoring under supervision.
- Support the preparation and review of electrical drawings, schedules and technical documentation.
- Assist with recording installation progress, equipment details and inspection findings.
- Support authorised personnel during testing and commissioning activities.
- Compile project updates, technical reports and outstanding-work lists.
- Maintain organised drawings, equipment schedules and project records.
- Follow site health and safety procedures and report technical concerns to the supervising engineer.
Requirements
- Completed Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits, systems and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to learn and work under supervision.
- Ability to work in Polokwane and attend project sites as required.
Advantageous
- Exposure to AutoCAD or electrical drawing software.
- A valid driver’s licence.
Pay: R13 092,46 - R72 201,95 per month
