SUMMARY: Our client has a vacancy for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, for a permanent role, based in Witbank, Mpumalanga. POSITION INFO: Applicants are required to strictly meet the following criteria: N4 Qualified Millwright\/Electrician recognised Electrical apprenticeship & Trade test (section 13) Medium Voltage qualification and MV switching experience are mandatory Minimum 3 years' experience as Maintenance Supervisor Proven track record of applying and controlling maintenance management systems Experienced and knowledgeable in the maintenance and operations of industrial water treatment plants Strong electrical background to analyse and troubleshoot accurately, and quickly give support and guidance to artisans; Strong understanding of the OHS and MHS Act regulations and practices Experienced in the application of Root Cause Analysis methods Operational and safety procedures pertaining to maintenance activities Relevant project execution experience with a proven record of satisfactory prior performance Strong computer literacy in MS Office; Drivers, own vehicle and willing to travel Effective performance management and sound understanding of HR systems and procedures Experience and understanding of root cause analysis methods and facilitate FMECA Store management and maintain all inventory and ensure proper storage Proactively work within a team with the ability to work unsupervised Medically fit; able to work in confined spaces\/heights; able to deal with various weather conditions Willing to work standby after hours and weekends The s uccessful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Ensure application of and adherence to the Maintenance Information system (SAP) and ensure all assets are clearly marked and controlled with the Asset Register Supervisory management, scheduling and coordination of an E, M, I & CM maintenance team w.r.t performing preventive, corrective and condition-based predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs. Ensure that equipment for preventive maintenance, predictive vibration analysis, IR scanning, and performance evaluation (i.e. compressors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, machinery and assemblies) as per the preventive maintenance schedule and corrective ad-hoc requirements are performed, reported, recorded, actioned and closed out Assist in the monitoring and submission of detailed monthly reporting on E, M, I & CM equipment condition, preventive and corrective work, both performed and outstanding and all relevant contractual\/project aspects & requirements Ensure adherence to established communication lines and reporting requirements Apply sound human resource principles, administration and control to meet performance objectives Ensure prompt completion and submission of completed PM schedules, Job Cards and timesheets and relevant departmental documentation Ensure safety and housekeeping meet the standards as set out in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act at a high level and comply with all applicable ISO system requirements and ensure continual improvement of these systems Ensure that specified, approved and contractual required stock levels are kept and controlled at all times.
