Job description

Cox is a global utility company in water and energy, that applies innovative technological solutions for sustainable development.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical scope for projects, ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Projects located in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Cable Laying, connections for PV installations
Supervising Labourers and tasks
Planning and organising of daily tasks
Effectively communicating tasks to labourers
Coordinating of plant, tools and equipment
Completing and submitting of daily documentation in due time
Reporting of problems encountered during daily tasks
Keeping a strict time schedule to ensure targets are met

Ensuring efficiency of plant, tools and employees

Required Qualifications & Experience

Previous PV installation and cable laying experience.
Construction Regulations Certificate
OHS Act Certificate
Legal Liability Certificate
HIRA Certificate
Planned task observations Certificate
Valid driver’s license
Red Seal Certificate
Preferable experience in electrical sub-stations
Attention to detail
Performance driven
Excellent planning and management skills
The ability to perform under pressure
Ability to communicate well with others
