Electrical Team Leader - Cape Town and Paarl

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Team Leader to head up a small team on construction projects in Cape Town and Paarl. The role is suited to an experienced Elconop 2, Elconop 3, or Electrician who can read and execute electrical plans and enjoys leading from the front.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the electrical contracting industry.
• At least 2 years’ retail or restaurant shopfitting experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Official certification as required.
• Valid driver’s licence (critical) and confidence driving a company bakkie.
• Own hand tools and meters essential.
• Physically fit and able to keep pace with site demands.
• Preferably able to bring a trusted team of 2 members who live nearby.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a small electrical team.
• Read, interpret, and implement electrical plans (drawings).
• Oversee installation and maintenance of domestic, retail, and light commercial electrical systems.
• Ensure work is carried out safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Manage tools, materials, and transport logistics for the team.
• Provide hands-on support and training to team members.

Pay: R90,08 - R139,47 per hour
