Electrical Technician

S4 is looking for an electrician to work on installation projects. Previous experience in industrial automation projects and the ability to read E-Plan drawings will enable you to excel in the role.

Please note that this is a fixed-term contract, the duration will depend on project related requirements.

JOB DUTIES:

• Basic electrical design on site
• Ordering of installation hardware
• Install electrical and electronic systems to meet applicable standards and codes
• Test and inspect systems upon completion of installation to assure quality and proper operation
• Provide continuous support to clients including being available for call outs as required
• Analyze drawings for the purpose of determining the efficient installation of new systems
• Coordinates with senior technician and/or other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently
• Diagnose causes of problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified electrician / millwright or a NDip. / BTech in Electrical Engineering
• Ability to read E-Plan drawings
• Willing and able to work overtime when required
• Industrial automation experience
