Job description
Established Plastic Bottle Manufacturing company based in Anchorville, Lenasia is looking for an electrician to join our team.
Requirements:
· Matric certificate
· Drivers license
· Qualified as an electrician
· Preference will be given to those who have been trade tested
· Minimum 5 years experience in fault finding and repair of manufacturing equipment.
· Preference will be given to those who have worked in a manufacturing plant with blow molding and Injection molding machines.
Job description
· Interpret technical drawings, manuals and electrical documentation
· Carry out routine maintenance and preventative servicing on electrical equipment and machinery
· Assist with troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs of electrical systems
· Maintain and repair electrical components including panels, motors, wiring, and control systems
· Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment
· Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
· Provide basic mechanical assistance when required
· Perform inspections to identify potential faults, hazards, or maintenance needs
· Accurately complete maintenance records, job cards, and reports
· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
· Other related duties
· Adhere to health and safety regulations
