Job Advert Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and solutions-driven Electrician to ensure that all electrical maintenance, repair and installation processes and requirements are effectively executed, according to their identified plans, schedules, and standard operating procedures. And importantly optimising and prioritising production processes. Technical knowledge of: PLC, SCADA and VSD (Allen Bradley, SEW, and Siemens) required.

Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Electrical Trade Certificate (N6 or T4)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance, repair and installation
- Good PLC, SCADA and VSD knowledge
- Manufacturing experience would be advantageous
- A proactive team player with a commitment to excellence
Duties & Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance & Repairs:Ensure that all electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations are completed according to standard operating procedures, and meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Execution of Maintenance Plans:Execute and adhere to all maintenance, repair, and installation plans (including weekly maintenance and large shutdown plans) within the indicated timelines and requirements. Resource Planning & Requesting:Request and ensure availability of all support and resources required to carry out work tasks in order to optimise production capacity and ensure clarity in task execution. Work Scheduling & Expectations:Understand and effectively execute work schedules, overtime, stand-by duties, and other expectations as per standard operating procedures and policies. Tool & Parts Availability:Ensure all necessary parts, tools, and resources are available prior to the commencement of work, and that any additional requirements are clearly identified and requested. Problem Solving & Cost-Effectiveness:Carry out electrical engineering problem-solving, process optimisation, and root cause analysis in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
