• Minimum educational qualification: N3 certificate.
• Certified trade test certificate, complying with Section 13 and 26D requirements.
• Proof of completion of a structured apprenticeship training program.
• Successful completion of relevant modules from an accredited training institution.
• Submission of a logbook or training record sheet documenting practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a related industry.
• Proven experience in plant operations is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of slurry pumps.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team in a dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all process equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement preventative and planned maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Ensure full compliance with company Health and Safety Standards in all maintenance activities.
• Effectively manage the inventory of critical and consumable spare parts to support maintenance operations.
• Document and analyze equipment breakdowns to identify trends and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate maintenance records and equipment history logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance efforts and support operational continuity.
• Identify and execute opportunities for process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Respond swiftly to unplanned equipment failures and emergencies to minimize production disruptions.
