• Minimum educational qualification: National N3 certificate or equivalent.
• Possession of a certified trade test certificate as per Section 13 and 26D regulations.
• Completion of a structured apprenticeship training program, evidenced by official documentation.
• Successful completion of relevant modules from an accredited training center, with certificates provided.
• A comprehensive logbook or training record sheet demonstrating practical skills and on-the-job experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in relevant technical skills applicable to the trade.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to interact with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to quality workmanship standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of all process equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop, plan, and schedule preventive and planned maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure strict compliance with the company's Health and Safety Standards at all times.
• Manage inventory and control of critical and consumable spare parts efficiently.
• Record breakdown incidents accurately and maintain up-to-date equipment history documentation.
• Utilize a minimum of five years' relevant industry experience to inform maintenance strategies.
• Apply specialized knowledge in maintaining slurry pumps and other plant equipment.
• Maintain a valid Code 8 driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
• Be available for standby duties and willing to work overtime as required to support operations.
