Job Description Job Summary: To maintain, repair and install all electrical and mechanical equipment and electronic systems on heating, ventilation and air-conditioning and security and fire equipment.
Main Responsibilities (not Limited To)
- To ensure functionality of control & power systems of water supply to Chillers and boilers for production and office needs.
- To ensure all measuring sensors and transmitters are calibrated and accurate.
- To diagnose the cause of problems or failures in security gates, booms, automatic doors and HVAC for the purpose of identifying equipment or systems repair and/or replacement.
- To install heating and air-conditioning equipment and ventilation control and power systems.
- To perform routine and preventive maintenance of smoke detection, fire panels and Building Management System.
- To ensure that tasks assigned in projects are completed according to good workmanship and timelines.
- To perform standby, overtime and ad-hoc work.
- To ensure compliance with the ISO system within the facilities maintenance section.
- To ensure all practices are aligned with required SHE legislation, standards and policies.
- To ensure Health, Safety and Environmental regulations are adhered to in line with the legal requirements for both SABN employees and contractors. Adhere to safety regulations and procedures by identifying and mitigating hazards related to assigned tasks, and escalating those that cannot be resolved immediately.
The Preferred Candidate Is Likely To Have
- N3 Electrical/Mechanical
- Electrical/ Millwright Trade Test (Essential)
- 3 -5 years’ experience as an Electrical/Mechanical Artisan
