Role Purpose The Employee Experience and Engagement Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing the employee experience through internal communication, events, and specific practices in the employee lifecycle.
The role ensures that every interaction reflects Momentum Investments' culture and creates meaningful, memorable experiences that drive engagement, performance, and retention.
Working within a high-performing investment business, the role aims to build a connected, informed, and engaged workforce while embedding best-practice people experiences that support business growth and a strong employer brand.
Requirements

3 – 5 years relevant experience in internal communication and events.

Design using tools such as adobe, canva etc.

Copywriting abilities for a variety of platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities****Employee Experience and Engagement

Design with a continuous focus on improving the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
-
Within each practice of responsibility, identify key employee touchpoints and ensure each creates a positive, consistent, and memorable experience.

Benchmark against industry best practices and recommend innovative employee experience initiatives within these people practices.

Measure employee sentiment and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
Internal Communications
-
Develop and execute an internal communication and engagement plan for key portfolios that keeps employees informed, engaged, and connected.

Create compelling content across multiple channels.

Support executive communications and key business announcements.

Ensure all communication aligns with the organisation's culture and strategic priorities.

Continuously enhance the visual and digital employee experience by introducing innovative communication methods and channels.
Ensure feedback mechanisms are in place
- Coordinate employee feedback mechanisms, including engagement surveys and action planning.
Internal Events & Experiences

Plan and deliver high-quality internal events.

Create memorable employee experiences that strengthen connection and organisational pride.

Manage event logistics, vendors, and stakeholder relationships.

Develop initiatives that strengthen the culture and create an environment where employees can thrive.

Support culture-building initiatives that reinforce the company's purpose and behaviours.
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Design and implement a world-class recruitment and onboarding candidate experience.
Learning and Development (L&D)

Ensure that L&D is driven under the Ugrow dimension, as part of our Employee Experience framework.

Awareness of initiatives to support growth and development proactively.

Awareness around Youth development.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Performance Management
- Ensure leaders and employees remain informed, prepared, and aligned throughout the Performance Excellence cycle by delivering consistent, timely, and engaging communications.
Design and development of collateral

Design and manage employee communication collateral, ensuring a professional and consistent visual identity across all touchpoints.

Develop and maintain engaging communication assets, including:

PowerPoint presentations, posters, banners, SharePoint sites and intranet content, campaign themes, desktops, plasma screens etc.

Event branding and promotional material in line with requirements.
-
Partner with Marketing and Brand teams to ensure all internal communications are aligned with corporate brand standards while meeting employee engagement objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with the Human Capital team as key stakeholder and clients.
-
Ensure effective stakeholder engagement with people practice leads. Know the rhythm and flow of the annual cycles for these.

Build strong relationships across the portfolio (Wealth, Structured Products and Annuities and Enablement) to identify engagement opportunities and improvement initiatives proactively.

Build and maintain external partnerships.
