Job description

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Employee Wellness Officer / Facilitator to support employee wellbeing, workplace relationships, team effectiveness and conflict-resolution interventions.

The successful candidate will be required to conduct individual employee sessions, team alignment interventions, conflict mediation and workplace wellness support on an assignment-based basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting confidential one-on-one sessions with employees and managers.
Providing employee wellness support and structured individual interventions.
Identifying workplace, interpersonal and team-related challenges.
Facilitating team alignment and team effectiveness sessions.
Supporting teams to improve communication, trust, collaboration and working relationships.
Facilitating conflict mediation between employees, managers and teams.
Managing difficult workplace conversations in a professional and impartial manner.
Assisting parties to identify the root causes of workplace conflict.
Facilitating constructive conflict-resolution discussions.
Supporting relationship restoration and workplace reconciliation where required.
Facilitating sessions aimed at strengthening employee engagement and workplace morale.
Conducting follow-up sessions to monitor progress following interventions.
Providing guidance on workplace wellbeing, interpersonal relationships and team dynamics.
Preparing professional intervention reports, session summaries and recommendations.
Maintaining strict confidentiality and professional ethics throughout all interventions.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Psychology, Industrial / Organisational Psychology, Social Work, Human Resource Management, Employee Wellness, Organisational Development, Employee Relations / Labour Relations or another relevant related qualification.
A postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
Must be registered with HPCSA or SACSSP

Pay: R350,00 - R1 000,00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5.0 per week

License/Certification:

HPCSA OR SACSSP (Required)
