We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) teacher (Grade 10–12) to bring energy, technical expertise, and precision into the classroom from January 2027. You will also be called upon to teach Technology (Graphics and Design) to Grade 8 and 9 classes with the intention of assisting learners when it comes to potentially choosing EGD in Grade 10

Minimum Requirements

Key Qualities and Abilities:

Experience of teaching Engineering Graphics and Design to a Matric level.

Relevant teaching qualifications and proof of SACE registration.

Although not essential, NSC marking experience would be a strong recommendation.

Plan, prepare, and deliver structured lessons in alignment with national CAPS curriculum requirements (Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical drawings, spatial visualisation, and design processes).

Teach foundational Technology / Graphics to Grades 8–9 to spark technical interest and build essential prerequisite skills for senior EGD.

Integrate modern learning technologies, CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and practical drawing techniques into daily teaching.

Serve as a register class teacher, supporting student mental health, character building, wellness and discipline.
