Grow, Innovate, Succeed! We have an incredible opportunity for an ENGINEERING STORES CLERK at I&J in Woodstock**, Cape Town**. In this role you will be responsible for planning and organization of materials and inventory, ensuring optimal stock availability to support seamless operational delivery.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to: Maintenance Planner
Key Areas of Impact:
- Ensure spares availability to support operations and shutdown readiness.
- Maintain accurate SAP stock control, MRP processes and Material Master Data integrity.
- Drive compliance with audit, document control and safety standards including MSDS and hazardous substances.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and cost control of materials and inventory.
- Manage supplier performance, stakeholder communication and optimal stock levels
- Support risk management for critical equipment and monitor safety metrics.
What It Takes to Succeed:
Experience that set you up for success:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Artisan
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- The ideal candidate will hold a completed NQF3 qualification in Stores, Logistics or Warehousing
Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success:
- SAP Stock Control experience
- Strong technical knowledge – advantageous
