Job description
Same Student, Every Lesson, This Isn't Gig Teaching
Forget the revolving door of one-off video calls. With this global online English platform, you're paired with the same student for the length of their course, sometimes for years. Real progress, real relationships, and lessons that actually mean something by lesson fifty.
Apply through TEFL UK for guided support at every step, from application to your first lesson, completely free.
The role:
You'll deliver focused, 25-minute 1-on-1 lessons to students aged 4-16, using a structured curriculum and full training provided from day one, no lesson planning left to chance, no scrambling for content.
What makes this different:
- Fixed pairings, not cold-calls. Some teachers on this platform have taught the same student for up to 9 years. You're not reintroducing yourself every session, you're watching someone actually learn.
- Zero client-hunting. Student sourcing is handled for you. You show up, you teach.
- Pay that adds up fast. Up to $18/hour for 25-minute sessions - short, high-focus lessons that fit around whatever else your day looks like.
- Paid monthly, no chasing invoices. Straight to PayPal or Payoneer.
- A brand with a track record. 12 years in online education, not a startup figuring things out as they go.
Qualifications
- A TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certificate (not yet qualified? TEFL UK can get you there in as little as 3 weeks)
- At least 1 year of teaching experience
- Fluent English - native or neutral accent, non-native speakers welcome
- Availability 46 days/week, with 14+ fixed hours across 6:00-9:30pm Beijing time (comfortably late morningmid afternoon UK time)
- A laptop, headset, and stable internet (10 Mbps up / 30 Mbps down)
Salary & Benefits
- Up to $18/hour for 25-minute 1-on-1 lessons
- Monthly pay via PayPal or Payoneer no invoicing, no chasing payments
- No degree required TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certificate is enough
- Full training provided from day one, plus complete lesson materials and curriculum
- Zero client-hunting all student sourcing handled for you
- Fixed student pairings some last up to 9 years, so you build real relationships instead of one-off classes
- 1-year renewable contract for long-term stability
- 100% remote teach from anywhere with a laptop and stable internet
- No visa, flights or relocation required
- Guided, free application support through TEFL UK
- Established platform with 12 years in online education
