English Teacher with STEM background

We are looking for experienced English teachers with a solid understanding of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to join our team for a SAT prep project.

You can set your hours and teach on the go, as long as you have:

• A laptop or computer
• Reliable Internet and power supply
• A webcam, a microphone, and a solid-colour backdrop

If you love teaching but dislike preparing lessons or grading, this is the perfect opportunity. All lesson materials are provided — you simply log in, teach, and inspire your students.

Whether you are seeking a second source of income or a steady part-time job, we offer flexible options. You can work from as little as 16 hours per month up to 30 hours per week .

What you will do

• Teach pre-designed SAT English and reading comprehension lessons that also involve STEM-related content.
• Conduct live Zoom sessions and provide brief feedback to students after class.
• Have a flexible schedule: shifts are assigned in advance and confirmed with the teacher.

Minimum Requirements

• Native-level English proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree or current enrolment in one of the following:
• Communications, Modern Languages, English, Education, Linguistics, Literature, or related fields
• (Alternatively, a TEFL certificate or equivalent is accepted)
• At least one year of experience teaching English as a foreign language
• Interest or background in STEM-related subjects (even at a general or high-school level)
• Currently living in South Africa
