Job description
The purpose of the position is to provide quality basic nursing care and support to patients within the scope of practice prescribed by the South African Nursing Council (SANC), while adhering to all hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care in accordance with outcome-based principles.
CRITICAL OUTPUTS
- Work within scope of practice, maintaining competency and escalating concerns.
- Implement outcome-based nursing per policies and legislation.
- Support therapeutic and multi-disciplinary activities for patient outcomes.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Facilitate smooth patient flow and address customer complaints.
- Build productive relationships with stakeholders.
- Adhere to financial policies and ensure accurate charging of medicines.
- Maintain stock and comply with OHS waste disposal regulations.
- Report equipment failures to ensure safety.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 (Matric) / NQF 4.
- Registration with SANC required.
- At least 2 - 3 years’ experience.
- Computer Proficiency
Pay: R12 600,00 - R16 300,00 per month
