Job description

Work Description

The purpose of this position is to provide highly experienced and efficient clinical services under the supervision of the Professional Nurse whilst adhering to all relevant policies and regulations.

Technical Work Responsibilities

Liaise with Internal and External Customers/Stakeholders
Ensure the management of HIV/TB efficiently according to DoH guidelines.
Ensure patients who are diagnosed with HIV/TB are linked to care
Work closely with the PNs and Data Monitors to ensure quality viral load data is reported
Participate in tracing and follow up of missed appointment clients
Report progress to both internal and external stakeholders on regular basis

Education

Enrolled Nurse Certificate
Registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse/Staff Nurse

Experience

Minimum 2 years’ related experience and/or training
Minimum 3 years’ experience in clinical or primary health care

Advantageous

Minimum 3 years’ experience in HIV/AIDS and TB related accountabilities

HIV/AIDS Counselling and Management Certificate

Requirements

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
