ENROLLED NURSING ASSISTANT, Alta du Toit Aftercare Centre

(Sluitingsdatum: 24 Augustus 2026) Alta du Toit Care Centre is a program of Badisa , a joint ministry initiative of the Dutch Reformed Church [Western Cape] and the United Reformed Church in Southern Africa [Cape] .

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, with continuous observation of physical and emotional state of clients;

• Identify, prevent, and report risks to ensure client safety;
• Contribute to a positive client experience by assisting in the creation of a conducive environment, within the scope of practice for enrolled nurse auxiliaries;
• Provide assistance to Carers regarding taking care of clients as operationally required;
• Clinic/ Sickbay service;
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions;
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged;
• Compliance with minimum norms & standards (health & safety regulations).

Relevant Experience

• Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary Certificate

• SANC valid registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• 1 year post qualification experience
• Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols
• Scientific nursing principles and process and Patient assessment skills
• Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses for specific speciality areas
• Must be willing to work shifts
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
