POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our high-performing and driven Advancement team which is responsible for executing the school’s enrollment and marketing strategy at both campuses of the American International School of Johannesburg (Pretoria and Johannesburg). As an Enrollment Intern, you will provide administrative support to the Advancement team and its activities such as telephonic and email correspondence, document collection, data capture, student visa documentation and tracking, and assisting with orientation and marketing events. You may also be called upon to support other departments with Advancement activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or a relevant field
- Prior experience in an administrative, secretarial, or admissions function is a plus
- Work experience in a school or academic setting preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Advancement team with administrative duties including filing, record keeping, photocopying, etc
- Telephonic and email communication with prospective and current families
- Relieve the receptionist as needed
- Capture data on various systems
- Track documentation and visas via spreadsheets
- Assist with the movement of items from different locations
- Assist with orientation and marketing events
- Scheduling in-person and virtual appointments
- Direct involvement in selected enrollment projects
- Assist other departments with Advancement activities as assigned by the Advancement Director
- Other duties as assigned
School hours: This is a 45-hour per-week position and may be required to work longer hours from time.
