Entry-Level General Sales Assistant
La Granson International is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Entry-Level General Sales Assistants to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with Matric who is ready to build a career in sales, customer service, and retail support.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional assistance
- Help customers find products that meet their needs
- Support daily sales activities and work toward team sales goals
- Keep shelves stocked, organised, and visually appealing
- Handle basic cashier and point-of-sale tasks when needed
- Answer customer questions and resolve simple concerns efficiently
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and checking stock
- Maintain a clean, neat, and inviting store environment
What We’re Looking ForRequired
- Matric / Grade 12
- Strong communication and people skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good teamwork and customer service skills
- Basic numeracy and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Nice to Have
- Previous retail or sales experience
- Confidence working with customers face to face
- Basic knowledge of sales or merchandising
