Job description

Responsible for health inspections and investigations.
Enforces specific procedures and measures on residents, commercial and industrial business.
Participates in delivery of awareness and educational programmes on environmental health approaches to sale and healthy living in the community.
Coordinates specific administrative and reporting requirements associated with Key Performance Areas and result indicators of the functionality.
Direct and control the Key Performance and outcome of the personnel within the section.
Manage the financial resources of the section by preparing capital and operating budget estimates and control
National Diploma in Environmental Health.
2-3 years working experience.
Valid registration with HPCSA as an Environmental Health Practitioner
Computer literacy
Knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements, acceptable practices and procedures.
Possession of a valid driver’s license (code EB).
