Estimator

𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥

We are looking for an Estimator to join our team in Worcester.

𝙅𝙤𝙗 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣:

• Generate quotations and submit them to the Key Account Manager.

• Assist with costing upon closing of a job.

• Writing of technical specifications of certain products and communicating to production floor until job is closed

• Check in of Freight Carriers and ensure that the correct job number is assigned to the correct Freight Carrier

• Ensuring that any changes to the technical spec by the client is communicated to the Engineering Department and Production.

• Regularly updating Bill of Material for Standard Quotes

𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨:

• Matric or equivalent certificate

• Previous experience in estimating and costing will be an advantage

• Experience in Costing Road Tankers Reefers and Dry Vans will be an advantage

• Using spreadsheets to do calculations.

• Able to read, understand and interpret applicable legal acts and regulations.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Ensuring all enquiries is handled promptly and accurately.

• Excellent administrative skills as well as numeracy competencies

• Computer literacy

• Strong communication skills (Verbal & Written)

• Attention to detail

• Must be willing to work shift as department or company requires.

• Valid driver’s license.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: Market-related, based on experience

Position is based in: Worcester, Western Cape
