JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for the planning, co-ordination and delivery of promotions, entertainment and events (including the co-ordination of entertainment performances, artistes and entertainers) and related activities which drive unit revenue; with the objectives of creating a public image and the reputation of the business unit’s brand as the entertainment and casino establishment of choice.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Job Scope & Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute gaming promotions, entertainment and special events in accordance with the annual marketing calendar
- Develop and maintain promotions and events calendars, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders
- Coordinate entertainment logistics including artists, suppliers, accommodation, transport, technical requirements and venue readiness
- Prepare and distribute staff briefs, events briefs and communication plans
- Coordinate promotional collateral, branding, gifting and event-related marketing material
- Ensure venues meet operational, technical and customers requirements prior to event commencement
- Monitor event budgets, track expenditure and complete month-end reporting
- Conduct post-event evaluations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal departments
- Liaise with Gaming, Food & Beverage, Security, Finance, Maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless event execution
- Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate where necessary
- Ensure all events and promotions comply with company policies, procedures and gaming regulations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Grade 12
- 1-2 year Diploma in Marketing is preferred Previous experience in duty management is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the entertainment industry
- Exposure in the gaming industry is preferred.
