Events Supervisor

The Events Supervisor is tasked primarily with overseeing and managing all events-related inventory, operational workflows, and warehouse activities. It is the responsibility of the Events Supervisor to ensure operational excellence through accurate stock management, quality control and compliance with standard operating procedures, and effective supervision of the Events operational team, while working closely with all relevant departments within Nexus Fulfilment to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

The Events Supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse Manager with a dotted line to the Head of Events.

Key duties and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

1. Inventory and Warehouse Management

* Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns processes.

* Ensure accurate WMS processing and stock integrity at all times.

* Monitor inventory movement and stock control procedures.

* Ensure operational workflows are followed according to company SOPs.

* Manage inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions where required.

* Check expected returns reports daily and follow up with the parties that have not returned orders on time.

* Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records for all event stock within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) .

* Ensure all cycle counts are completed and reconciled within required timelines.

* Maintain minimum stock integrity accuracy standard of 90% and above.

* Ensure all dispatched stock is supported by the correct documentation and authorized sign-offs.

2. Events Stock Quality Control

* Manage event stock quality control, cleaning, repairs, and maintenance.

* Ensure all event inventory is maintained in a clean, operational, and client-ready condition.

* Monitor damaged stock processes and escalate issues where necessary.

* Ensure all quality inspections are completed accurately and timeously.

* Ensure damaged items are in damaged location.

* Escalate damages are they are returned to the client to notify them of what has been damaged including on which order and what event it was returned damaged from.

Pay: R12 000,00 per month
