Job description
Purpose of the Job:
The incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Divisional Executive: Enforcement and to ensure that office operations within the Division are efficient and successful in supporting business activities and vision. The person appointed to this position will report directly to the Divisional Executive.
Key Performance Areas:
- Managing diaries and coordinating and scheduling meetings
- Dealing with customers, stakeholders and the industry in a calm and respectful manner
- The ability to de-escalate conflict and cope with argumentative, confrontational and distressed individuals.
- Managing follow-ups with of tasks, deadlines and submissions
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and telephone calls – particularly with reference to Outlook mails, turn-around times and reminders
- Manage travel and accommodation arrangements for the Divisional Executive and Specialist Enforcement Support
- Manage the procurement process within the Divisional Executive’s office
- Plan and arrange internal and external events, including but not limited to the Financial Crime Symposium and the Regulatory Actions Report roadshow
- Assistance with case management
- Support other teams in the Division (and specifically the SES team); and
- Any other official responsibilities delegated by the Divisional Executive.

Good interpersonal skills, office administration and communications (both verbal and written) skills; ability to organise and liaise well with people at all levels; ability to function under pressure and monitor projects as assigned.

A relevant qualification – including but not limited to secretarial, office administration, business administration. At least 15 years’ relevant working experience as a personal assistant, secretary, office administrator etc. Must have excellent organisational and communication abilities. Must have time management skills
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and OneDrive) and other computer applications.
