Job description
Position Summary
FRD Poultry Farming is looking for an After-Sales Service Electrician to provide technical support to customers and assist with motor-related troubleshooting and repairs. This role involves diagnosing problems with livestock-related machines & motors, providing solutions, and coordinating repairs**.** A strong understanding of electrical systems, motors, and machinery is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers requiring after-sales support.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults on motors, machinery, and equipment.
- Inspect, test, repair, service, and replace electric motors and related components when required.
- Perform fault-finding on motor control circuits, starters, capacitors, overloads, and other electrical systems.
- Coordinate warranty claims, service requests, and replacement parts.
- Work closely with the sales and production teams to ensure customer issues are resolved promptly.
- Assist with machine installations, commissioning, and customer training.
Requirements
- Electrical qualification, Electrician certification, or relevant technical qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a technical service, maintenance, or after-sales support role.
- Strong knowledge of electric motors (both single phase & 3 phase), motor controls, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve motor-related faults and performance issues.
- Experience working with industrial machinery or agricultural equipment is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable interacting with customers and explaining technical concepts in a clear and professional manner.

Pay: R8 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
