Experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Workshop Supervisor / Senior Technician

Executive Transmissions is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Workshop Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position requiring extensive technical expertise as well as the ability to oversee daily workshop operations and client communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various makes and models of light commercial vehicles.
• Repair and service automatic and manual gearboxes.
• Diagnose and repair mechatronic units and control plates.
• Repair and maintain differentials, transfer cases, and complete drivetrain systems.
• Manage workshop workflow to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding vehicle assessments, repairs, and progress updates.
• Handle telephone enquiries and provide technical feedback to customers.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity, and customer service.
• Ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 7 years' experience working on light commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Automatic and manual transmissions
• Mechatronic systems and control plates
• Differentials and transfer cases
• Drivetrain diagnosis and repairs
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workshop activities effectively.
• Valid driver's licence preferred.

Remuneration

Salary will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on experience and qualifications.
