Job description
- Registered with South African Nursing Council as Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary
- Experience in an old age home
- Willingness to work shifts (day and night)
- Ability to identify, prevent, and report medico-legal risks and adverse events
- Basic knowledge of stock control principles
- Basic knowledge of infection control and occupational health principles
- Knowledge of Scientific Nursing Process (documentation)
- Sound knowledge of nursing activities and procedures
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to render care to the elderly in a compassionate manner
- Overseeing careworking team
- Assisting residents in personal care activities and general mobility
- Changing bed linen, making beds, and tidying rooms
- Assisting in the distribution of medication to residents
