Expo Planning Committee Members (Volunteer – Non-Remunerated)

Organisation: Make Every Child Happy (MECH) Organisation

Make Every Child Happy (MECH) Organisation is inviting passionate, committed, and community-minded individuals to join the 2026 MECH Career Expo Planning Committee as volunteer members.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of our flagship youth development initiatives by helping to plan and deliver a successful Career Expo that will connect learners with higher education institutions, employers, government departments, and industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning committee meetings.
  • Assist with organising and coordinating Career Expo activities.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, including sponsors, exhibitors, schools, and partners.
  • Assist with event logistics, administration, registrations, and communications.
  • Contribute ideas to improve the success and impact of the Career Expo.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities.
  • Be available to assist during the setup, delivery, and breakdown of the event.
  • Perform additional tasks allocated by the Planning Committee Chairperson.

Requirements

  • Passion for youth empowerment, education, and community development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good organisational and time management abilities.
  • Reliable, committed, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Previous event planning experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to volunteer time for meetings and event-related activities.

Remuneration

This is a volunteer (non-remunerated) position. No salary, stipend, or financial compensation will be provided. Where resources permit, MECH may provide refreshments, transport assistance, branded apparel, or other forms of appreciation during official activities.
