Job description
Pinnacle is a division of BKB seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented and customer-focused Export Controller to join BKB group. This position is responsible for coordinating the complete export process, ensuring that shipments are delivered accurately, on time and in full compliance with customer requirements, customs regulations and international trade standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in export administration, international logistics or freight forwarding.
- Sound knowledge of export procedures, customs documentation and international shipping.
- Experience working with Letters of Credit (LCs) and export banking documentation.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and UCP 600.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Experience with ERP and export administration systems will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating export orders from receipt through to final delivery.
- Managing export logistics, including shipping line bookings, vessel schedules and container movements.
- Preparing and processing all export and customs documentation.
- Administering Letters of Credit and ensuring compliance with banking requirements.
- Liaising with customers, freight forwarders, brokers, packhouses, shipping lines and financial institutions.
- Monitoring shipments and resolving export-related issues and delays.
- Ensuring compliance with customs legislation, export regulations and Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) requirements.
- Maintaining accurate export records, shipping schedules and documentation.
