External Sales Representative

DTS Security Products is looking for a motivated, professional and people-oriented External Sales Representative to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3–5 years’ experience in Internal and/or External Sales
• Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with everyone: from senior management to the receptionist
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Computer literate with good administration skills
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand and identify customer needs
• Professional, confident and presentable
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills
• Target-driven with a positive attitude

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Identify new business and sales opportunities
• Conduct customer visits and presentations
• Promote and sell company products and services
• Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries
• Meet and work towards sales targets
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customer requirements
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal staff
• Travel to customer sites and prospective clients as required
